Description

I played these pieces many times with my duo around the turn of the millenium. Just lovely music, and very suitable for soprano & baritone saxophone. A few notes don’t fit on the soprano saxophone, these have been octavated. Some passages for the baritone saxophone will be too high: you can play them an octave down or take the challenge. For instruments without a low a, that note needs to be played an octave up.

For didactic purposes, the lower part could also be played on alto saxophone, but for me that is not convincing in concert setting.
