Terms and conditions

  1. Applicability
  • These general terms and conditions apply to all offers and all agreements concluded between Raaf Hekkema and the person ordering/purchasing a downloadable sheet music of www.raafhekkema.com (hereinafter referred to as: the “Client”).
  • In these general conditions, “download” means a file of an arrangement or newly composed music in the broadest sense of the word.


  1. Formation of the agreement
  • The agreement on receiving a download from www.raafhekkema.com and the Client comes into effect when the Client orders/purchases a download from www.raafhekkema.com
  • The download entitles the holder to use it for personal purposes only.
  • From the moment the download is made available to the Client, the risk of loss, theft, damage or misuse of the download rests on the Client.
  • www.raafhekkema.com cannot guarantee receipt of the download. If the Client has not received a download, he/she/they will notify www.raafhekkema.com within 7 days. The burden of proof that the Client has purchased the download rests with the Client.
  • www.raafhekkema.com reserves the right to limit the number of downloads that can be ordered and the Client will be obliged to comply with the maximum number set by www.raafhekkema.com.
  • Downloads cannot be returned. The provisions of article 6:230p sub g of the Dutch Civil Code apply to downloads.


  1. Ban on resale, copyrights etc.
  • All content (including texts, graphics, logos etc.) on www.raafhekkema.com is the exclusive property of Raaf Hekkema and protected by international copyright laws. The Client is obliged to refrain from reproducing, distributing, displaying, or use the download for commercials purposes nor make derivative works without the written permission of Raaf Hekkema.


  1. Personal data
  • The Client’s personal data, including data relating to the name, address, postcode, place of residence, telephone number, sex, date of birth and e-mail address of the Client, recorded by www.raafhekkema.com in connection with the sale of a download, will not be sold to third parties.
  • The purpose of this administration is the management and availability of personal data for administrative operations, Client brand analysis and mailings.
  • As a data subject, the Client may invoke the right to inspect, and/or unsubscribe from receiving mailings at any time. The www.raafhekkema.com processes personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with its privacy policy, which can be found on the website of the www.raafhekkema.com.


  1. Complaints
  • Complaints about the implementation of the agreement between www.raafhekkema.com and the Client must be submitted to www.raafhekkema.com within eight days after the implementation of the agreement has taken place. A complaint can be filed by sending an email to info@raafhekkema.com If complaints are submitted after this deadline www.raafhekkema.com may decide not to deal with them.


  1. Final provisions
  • These general terms and conditions and any agreement between the Client and www.raafhekkema.com shall be governed by Dutch law.
  • All disputes that may arise as a result of the agreement between www.raafhekkema.com and the Client or any agreement resulting therefrom will be settled exclusively by a Dutch competent court.



www.raafhekkema.com is aware that you provide it with personal data and realises that you place your trust in it and considers it its responsibility to handle your data with care. This privacy statement tells you what data we keep from you, why and for what period of time.

When you order one ore more downloads, we record (to the extent this data is required by the ticketing system):

– your first and last name

– your address details

– your telephone number

– your email address

– what download you ordered

For the purpose of newsletters, we only keep:

– your first and last name

– your email address

– and when filled in your place of residence.


For what purpose do we record this data?

The personal data mentioned above are processed in order to:

– process your order and send your download by email;

– send you our newsletter and/or other information material;

– contact you if this is necessary to be able to carry out our services;

– inform you of changes to our services and products;


How long do we keep your data?

We do not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. If you no longer place orders for a period of up to five consecutive years, we will delete the data collected for the purpose of download sales from our files.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by using the link in the footer. However, your data will then be retained. If you wish to be permanently removed from the mailing list, please email info@raafhekkema.com with your request.


Do we share your data with third parties?

We do not sell, license or trade any data from private persons to a third party unless there is a legal obligation to do so. We conclude a processing agreement with organisations that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. www.raafhekkema.com remains responsible for this processing.



We take appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorized access, and other undesired actions with personal data.


Rights of data subjects

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by www.raafhekkema.com.

Please direct an objection or request preferably via email to info@raafhekkema.com. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but at the latest within four weeks. To make sure that the request comes from you, we ask you to send a copy of a valid identity document. In this copy, only your name and initials need to remain legible. All other personal information (BSN, passport photo, passport number, etc.) may be rendered illegible to protect your privacy.

You can file a complaint about our protection of your personal data with the courts. You thereby invoke the legal protection provided by the Personal Data Protection Act.
